Comparison of Modal Analysis Results in StatiCAD and SAP2000 Programs

For simplicity, a system consisting of 4 columns and 2 stories was modeled in StatiCAD, analyzed, and then exported to SAP2000 for analysis.

The system was solved both with and without rigid diaphragm. It was determined that the results matched better in the solution without diaphragm.
