Command Line
The commands that can be used in the command line added with Version 9.0.4.0 update are described below.
When you type W or w or wall or shearwall in the command line and press enter, the shear wall/wall properties form appears on screen. After making the necessary adjustments (wall/shear wall type, material properties, thickness, offset, etc.) and clicking the OK button, the program waits for the coordinates of the first point.
You will see that it is waiting for the first point coordinate as:
Enter wall start coordinate (X,Y) or (@dX,dY) or (@L<A)
Here, the (X,Y) option represents Global Coordinate Values.
The (@dX,dY) option represents Local Coordinate Values from the Last Clicked Point.
The (@L<A) option allows entry by specifying the length and angle from the last point.
For example, if you want to enter the wall start coordinate in X,Y format, when you type 100,200, measuring from the origin, x=100 y=200 becomes the wall start coordinate point.
If you want to enter the wall start coordinate in @dX,dY format, when you type @300,0, a point 300 cm in the X direction and 0 cm in the Y direction from the last clicked point becomes the start coordinate.
If you want to enter the wall start coordinate in @L<A format, when you type @500<45, a point 500 cm away at a 45-degree angle from the last clicked point becomes the start coordinate.
After entering the start coordinate, the program waits for the end coordinate of the wall. Enter the end coordinate in the same format. When the end coordinate is entered, the wall is drawn on the plan and the program waits for the next wall start coordinate. To exit the wall drawing mode, press the Escape key.
The same process applies for beams, columns, and other structural elements. The command line provides a fast and precise way to model structural elements by entering coordinates numerically.
