Determining Timber Classes
As is known, ABTHYE 2025 classifies timber elements based on their fm,k values and according to softwood or hardwood classes.
The classification of timber obtained from some trees grown in Turkey is presented below. For other materials, testing can be performed or national/international standards can be consulted.
